AVON for Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012

May 24, 2012 at the SMX Convention Center

Over a month of meetings and preparations, teamwork, important lessons, God-given talents, acquired skills – old and new, patience and hard work. These are the things that made up my first Philippine fashion week experience.

I got to learn a thing or two about designing/sketching (thanks to veteran Director, Joey Espino), my attention to detail was challenged, my creativity on concept and look was sharpened and of course my budgeting skills improved.

Exciting. All that work for a 20-minute show!:)

Thank you Ram de Vera for sharing this experience with me, Direk Cata Figueroa and Direk Joey Espino, Desiree & Eunice of Runway Productions and of course the AVON team. It was a pleasure working with you guys.

MEMO Fashion show during MEGA Magazine’s 20 Most Stylish

It was a well-attended and star-studded event. I was fortunate enough to be part of this, thanks to Ram de Vera who got me to help him with styling.

The experience was intense backstage. I felt the rush of having a 2-minute window for outfit change! Models rushing, clothes flying but came out well and put-together. :) That’s what’s important. We gave a great show.

Happy client = happy ME. :D

MEMO PR

I am very excited to share this PR article of MEMO clothing to you. This is the first time I’ve worked for a clothing retail brand. Thanks to fellow stylist, Ram, who needed help that time because he was juggling a lot of projects (superhero) and of course the totally awesome Golden ABC team handling the brand.

It was a fun full-day shoot at A-venue, Makati City! I learned a lot about the brand and met a few interesting people too.:)

This feature was about one of MEMO’s endorsers, Boom Gonzales. He’s a super cool and nice dude.

Hope to work with these guys again. :)

OBJECTS OF DESIRE.

Luxe breaks. Sense & Style magazine. April 2012 issue.

For this feature, I was tasked to select and style objects of desire of top executives. For me, they are people on the go who have reached a certain point in their lives wherein they can afford luxurious brands. When I was visualizing and planning on how to go about the project, these words lingered in my head – functional, smart, stylish, timely, trendy yet sophisticated and classy.
